Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 29, 2026

About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Bro and Twin Unified Studios LLC handle information when you use the Bro app, browse the Bro website, or voluntarily send a bug report.

No account required

Bro does not require you to create or sign in to an account. Twin Unified Studios LLC does not receive an account profile because Bro does not create one.

Information stored on your device

Information you enter in Bro is stored on your device. This may include tasks, task notes, reminders, completion status, recurring tasks, preferences, your name, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, and other important dates you choose to enter.

Bro does not transmit this app information to Twin Unified Studios LLC. Names, tasks, birthdays, important dates, and other personal content stored in Bro are not shared with us.

No synchronization between devices

Bro does not provide cross-device synchronization. Information entered on one device remains on that device and is not automatically copied to another phone, tablet, computer, or online account.

Age requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use Bro. Bro is not directed to children under 13, and Twin Unified Studios does not knowingly request personal information from children under 13 through Bro or this website.

If you are under the legal age of majority where you live, you should review this policy with a parent or legal guardian and use Bro only with their permission. A parent or guardian who believes a child under 13 has sent information to Twin Unified Studios should contact us so the matter can be reviewed and the information can be deleted when appropriate.

Bro’s App Store age rating may describe the suitability of the app’s content and may vary by region. That store rating is separate from the minimum age requirement stated in this policy.

Optional stronger language

Bro includes an optional stronger-language setting that may allow certain personalities to use profanity or other language that some users may consider inappropriate. Stronger language is disabled by default and is not required to use Bro or any personality.

You may enable or disable stronger language on your device at any time. If you are under the legal age of majority where you live, you should obtain permission from a parent or legal guardian before enabling it. This preference is stored on your device and is not shared with Twin Unified Studios LLC.

This website

The Bro pages use the Twin Unified Studios theme and policy-preference storage in your browser. They do not add analytics, advertising pixels, or user accounts. If you use the Bro Support form, the information and any attachments you choose to submit are processed and delivered by FormSubmit so Twin Unified Studios LLC can respond to your request.

The website stores limited preferences in your browser, including theme and Bro website personality choices. These preferences remain on your device unless you clear the site’s browser data. The website does not require you to provide a name, birthdate, or account to browse its public pages.

Notifications and task data

Bro uses device notification features to present reminders you configure. Task and reminder information remains on your device and is not sent to Twin Unified Studios LLC for notification delivery.

Notification permission is controlled through your device. You can change or disable that permission in system settings. Disabling notifications may prevent reminders from appearing but does not remove your tasks from the app.

Voluntary bug reports

Bro’s built-in Bug Report feature opens your device’s email service and prepares an email containing limited diagnostic information: your device type, operating-system version, and Bro app version. The report is not sent unless you choose to send it.

Bro does not automatically include your tasks, name, birthdays, important dates, reminders, task notes, or other personal app information in a bug report. Your email service may include your sending email address, and anything you manually add to the message will be shared when you send it. Please do not add sensitive task or personal information to a bug report.

Diagnostic details and any message you voluntarily send are used to investigate the reported problem, respond when appropriate, and improve Bro’s reliability.

If you use the website support form instead of the built-in Bug Report feature, you must provide your Bro app version, iOS version, and iPhone model. The form also requests a reply email address and support category. Do not include tasks, names, birthdays, important dates, reminders, notes, or other personal or sensitive information in the description or attachments.

Screenshots and screen recordings are optional. Before submitting one, review it carefully and remove or obscure any personal information, including notification previews or app content visible elsewhere on the screen. Information submitted through the form is shared voluntarily with Twin Unified Studios LLC and the form delivery provider.

Retention and deletion

Browser preferences can be removed by clearing this site’s data in your browser. App information can be changed or deleted using Bro’s available controls on the device. Because Bro does not provide cross-device sync, deleting Bro or losing access to the device may also remove access to information stored there.

Bug-report emails may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain service records, prevent abuse, improve reliability, or meet legal obligations.

Email services and legal requirements

When you choose to send a bug report, your selected email service processes and delivers that email under its own terms and privacy policy. Twin Unified Studios LLC may preserve or disclose a received bug report when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect users, investigate misuse, or defend the rights and security of the app and company.

When you use the website support form, FormSubmit processes the submission under its own terms and privacy practices. If you prefer not to use that service, use Bro’s built-in Bug Report feature or contact Twin Unified Studios LLC by email.

Security

App information is protected by the security of your device. You are responsible for controlling access to your device and keeping its operating system and security settings current. No device or electronic communication method can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so avoid including sensitive personal information in a bug report email.

GDPR notice for users in the European Economic Area

If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar privacy rights, applicable law may provide rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of personal data; request data portability where applicable; withdraw consent when processing relies on consent; and lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Bro’s normal app use does not send Twin Unified Studios LLC your locally stored tasks, reminders, names, birthdays, notes, or important dates. Because this information remains under your control on your device, Twin Unified Studios LLC generally cannot access, correct, export, or delete it for you. You can manage it through Bro and your device, subject to the controls available in the app and operating system.

When you voluntarily contact support, we process the contact details, diagnostics, message, and attachments you choose to provide so we can respond, investigate problems, improve Bro, protect our services, and meet legal obligations. Depending on the circumstances, processing may rely on your consent, steps taken at your request, our legitimate interests in support and product security, or compliance with law. Twin Unified Studios LLC is the controller of information it receives directly through these support interactions.

To exercise an applicable right concerning information you voluntarily submitted to us, contact info@twinunifiedstudios.com. We may need to verify your request. These rights may be limited by applicable exceptions, and they do not give us access to Bro data that remains solely on your device.

CCPA notice for California residents

California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, including the right to know or access covered personal information, request correction or deletion, receive information about categories and purposes of collection, and not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising applicable privacy rights.

Twin Unified Studios LLC does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising and does not use normal Bro app activity to build advertising profiles. Information we may receive is limited primarily to details you voluntarily provide through email or the website support form, such as a reply address, Bro version, iOS version, iPhone model, issue description, and optional attachment.

Requests concerning information voluntarily submitted to us may be sent to info@twinunifiedstudios.com. We may verify a request and retain information when permitted or required by law. We cannot retrieve or act on tasks, reminders, dates, or other Bro content that remains only on your device.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when Bro’s features or practices change. The date at the top of this page will be changed when revisions are published. If a change requires additional notice or consent under applicable law, Twin Unified Studios LLC will provide it through an appropriate channel.
