What is InvoBaseOS?

InvoBaseOS is an offline-first invoicing application designed for iPad. It helps freelancers, independent professionals, and small businesses manage invoices and business records locally with a clean and privacy-focused workflow.

Who is InvoBaseOS designed for?

InvoBaseOS is designed for:

  • Freelancers
  • Contractors
  • Independent creators
  • Local businesses
  • Service providers
  • Small teams looking for a local-first invoicing solution

Does InvoBaseOS require an internet connection?

No. InvoBaseOS is designed to operate offline without requiring a constant internet connection.

Is my data stored locally?

Yes. Invoice and account data are stored locally on your device using secure local storage methods.

Does InvoBaseOS require a subscription?

No. InvoBaseOS is a one-time purchase application with no required recurring monthly subscription.

Why is InvoBaseOS a paid app instead of free?

InvoBaseOS was developed as a premium local-first application without relying on mandatory subscriptions, advertising, data harvesting, or forced cloud account systems.

The purchase price helps support continued development, application maintenance, future updates, and long-term support as an independent software product.

Other invoicing apps are free. Why should I use InvoBaseOS?

Many invoicing applications rely on subscriptions, cloud-based infrastructure, advertising, account ecosystems, or data-driven business models.

InvoBaseOS was designed differently. It focuses on local-first ownership, offline functionality, privacy-focused design, reduced dependency on cloud services, and a one-time purchase model without required subscriptions.

What if InvoBaseOS is not the right fit for me?

InvoBaseOS may not be the right solution for every workflow or business environment. It was specifically designed for users who value local-first functionality, offline accessibility, privacy-focused workflows, and reduced dependency on cloud-based subscription platforms.

Does InvoBaseOS collect or sell personal data?

InvoBaseOS is designed around local-first data ownership principles. The application is not intended to function as a data collection platform or advertising service.

Please refer to the official Privacy Policy for detailed information regarding data handling and privacy practices.

Why is onboarding important?

The onboarding process contains important information regarding account setup, local data handling, password responsibilities, Master Key storage, and recovery limitations.

Users should carefully read all onboarding instructions before continuing.

What is the Master Key?

During onboarding, InvoBaseOS generates a unique Master Key used for recovery and secure account management purposes.

The Master Key is shown only once during setup. Users are strongly encouraged to securely store the Master Key immediately after it is displayed.

What happens if I lose my Master Key?

If the Master Key is lost and account credentials cannot be recovered, encrypted local data may become permanently inaccessible.

Twin Unified Studios LLC cannot recover lost Master Keys, forgotten passwords, or inaccessible encrypted local data.

Why does exporting require re-authentication?

Exporting invoice or client data may expose sensitive business information outside the protected local environment of the application.

For additional security, administrative actions such as exporting data may require account re-authentication before proceeding.

Why are standard accounts view-only?

Standard accounts are intentionally limited to viewing information in order to help reduce the risk of accidental modifications, unauthorized changes, invoice tampering, or deletion of important records.

Administrative accounts maintain control over invoice management, account management, exports, and sensitive application settings.

Is InvoBaseOS completely secure?

No application can guarantee absolute security.

However, InvoBaseOS is designed with a privacy-focused architecture intended to help reduce unnecessary exposure of sensitive business information. Users are still responsible for securing their devices, maintaining strong passwords, safely storing their Master Key, and following onboarding instructions carefully.

Who is responsible for device and data management?

Because InvoBaseOS is designed as a local-first application, users are responsible for maintaining access to their devices, protecting account credentials, securely storing their Master Key, and managing their locally stored information.

Twin Unified Studios LLC does not maintain direct control over locally stored user data or device access.

Can I transfer my data or account to another device?

InvoBaseOS is currently designed primarily for use in a single-device environment. Automatic cloud synchronization and account migration features are not required for normal operation.

Users should carefully manage their device access and locally stored information accordingly.

What happens if my device is lost, damaged, reset, or inaccessible?

Because InvoBaseOS operates using local-first storage principles, loss of device access or locally stored recovery information may result in permanent loss of access to locally stored data.

Twin Unified Studios LLC cannot recover inaccessible local files, forgotten passwords, lost Master Keys, or data removed due to device resets, deletion, corruption, or hardware failure.

Why is InvoBaseOS designed this way?

InvoBaseOS was intentionally designed around privacy, local ownership, reduced cloud dependency, and offline accessibility.

Unlike cloud-dependent services, local-first applications place greater responsibility on the user for managing device access and recovery information.

Does InvoBaseOS sync across devices?

No. Currently, InvoBaseOS is designed for use on a single device only.

InvoBaseOS follows a local-first design approach and does not currently support automatic cloud synchronization or multi-device syncing.

Users are responsible for maintaining access to their device, locally stored information, account credentials, and recovery materials.

Future transfer or migration functionality may be explored later, but is not currently guaranteed.

Are there plans for future updates?

Yes. Future updates may include usability improvements, interface refinements, workflow enhancements, additional export options, and expanded functionality based on user feedback and development priorities.

Future features are not guaranteed and may change over time.

Will there be a desktop version?

A desktop version may be explored in the future depending on development priorities, platform support, and user demand.

Does paying for the app guarantee future features?

No. Purchasing InvoBaseOS provides access to the application in its current supported form.

Future updates, improvements, and features may be added over time, but future functionality is not guaranteed and may change depending on development priorities and platform limitations.

What devices are supported?

InvoBaseOS is currently designed for supported iPad devices running compatible versions of iPadOS.

What happens if I uninstall the app?

Removing the application may also remove locally stored data depending on device settings and storage behavior.

Users should ensure important information is securely backed up before uninstalling the application.

I found a bug or issue. How do I contact support?
